SUNSET

By Maya
age 13

Feeling the warmth against my skin
The coarse sand beneath my feet.
The wind carressing my face
Turquoise waters splashing
Along the coast
Sparkling rays
Glistening like diamonds
On the rippling waves
Orange and rose highlight
The expanse above
As dusk slowly falls.
